3. Resistance to external influences: Polyamide tolerates ultraviolet rays and extreme temperatures better, which is important for specific tasks. Polypropylene is less resistant, but its characteristics are sufficient for less demanding applications, which makes it a more budget option.
Thus, polypropylene tape is cheaper due to simpler and cheaper production, as well as lower performance characteristics compared to polyamide tape.
